Macadamia hummus

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups canned chickpeas, drained
  • 1 cup raw Nutworks macadamias
  • 2 tablespoons chickpea liquid
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup tahini

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Roast macadamias for 8 minutes, or until golden.
  3. In a blender, blend garlic until minced.
  4. Add macadamias and remaining ingredients into blender. Process until smooth.
  5. Add a drizzle of macadamia oil and parsley to serve.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
