SCHOOL HOLIDAY Kids Chocolate Hub Session

SCHOOL HOLIDAY Kids Chocolate Hub Session

Kids Chocolate Hub

20 August 2013

Nutworksand the Chocolate Factory may well be the tastiest place to visit on the Sunshine Coast! Fully Australian-owned, Nutworks is a local icon, combining macadamia processing and chocolate making. The result? Mouth-watering chocolate and macadamia treats, made fresh on-site.

These School Holidays, Nutworks will start their new revised workshops called the ‘Kids Chocolate Hub Sessions’ for children aged 5 to 12 years.

The kids start by decorating their own chef’s hat to prepare them to get creative. They can choose from a variety of chocolate moulds and decorate their own designs with lollies and sprinkles. Their indulgent creations can then be taken home. Other activities the kids take part in are colouring in sheets and word finds.

“The kids love the fact that they can sit there for an hour and eat chocolate and be creative. It’s a great way to entertain the kids through the school holidays,” said Nicole the Marketing Coordinator at Nutworks.

Nutworks is situated at Yandina, across the road from the Ginger Factory. Visitors are welcome to uncover the history and health benefits of Australia's macadamia nut, view chocolates and confectionery being made and taste the delicious samples on offer. Admission is free.

While the kids are having a ball of a time, Mum and Dad can shop for unique gifts and souvenirs in Nutworks retail store with their discount provided when they book for a session. There’s an amazing array of unique and boutique macadamias, chocolate and confectionery products as well as beautiful packaged gifts and hampers. Afterwards, you can relax with a coffee in the Café and enjoy a macadamia scone or a decadent treat from the ever-changing cake display.

The workshops run for an hour at 11am on selected days. They cost $21.95pp. Book online now!
